Bring to class: A yoga sticky mat and one

or 2 firm blankets (thick wool works best).


Please enter the yoga space quietly and if you are late to class please wait to enter until after the meditation is over.



  

Recommendations:  Wear comfortable clothing that can move and stretch, but try to avoid overly baggy clothing which can obscure postural alignment.  Please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.  Have an empty stomach and let me know if you have any injuries, health issues, or if you are pregnant.



Private Classes


Private Instruction now available in my home studio! Develop a home practice, work on therapeutic sequences, and use body/mind techniques for healing injuries. Possible themes to explore include back care and postural corrections, building strength and flexibility, reducing stress, and using yoga to treat illness. Call to schedule an appointment.

Yoga Fundamentals: In this class you will learn the basics of yoga, including core strength, alignment, balance, and survey the main body of yoga poses. You will also learn how to properly practice sun salutes to develop strength and flexibility while calming your nervous system.  This  grounded practice will allow you to maintain and repair joints, muscles and bones while quieting the monkey mind. Recommended for those totally new to yoga or those with some yoga experience.


Essence of Yoga: In this challenging class you will develop strength and flexibility while aligning your nervous system.  This  grounded practice increases chi and soothes your adrenal system, so that you can have balanced power, and revitalized health.  Essence of Yoga incorporates vinyasa “flow” and advanced poses, and is recommended for those with some yoga experience.
